We are thrilled to introduce you to Rey – a remarkable kitten who’s proven to be a true survivor. Rey arrived at Lucky Paws as a sick kitten, but after many rounds of antibiotics, it was discovered that she had the deadly FIP. Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is a viral disease that affects cats, which is caused by a mutation of the Feline Coronavirus (FCoV).
But, despite her diagnosis, Rey never gave up. With the support of many dedicated vets and an experimental drug from overseas, Rey is now in remission and being closely monitored. Her tenacity and courage are truly inspiring, and she has won the hearts of everyone at Lucky Paws.
Rey is not just a survivor – she’s also a fun-loving and affectionate cat. She has a dynamic personality and boundless energy, and loves to sprint and climb to the highest cat tree. She’s very friendly and loves to play! On top of that, she’s also a sweet cuddle-bug as you sit and watch TV. She is very opinionated and will answer you when you have a conversation with her.
Rey’s unique personality is impossible to resist, and she will quickly become a cherished member of any household. She’s a fantastic cat who’s well-loved by the whole staff at Lucky Paws, and we are confident that she will bring endless joy and love to her future forever home.
