Lucky Paws Internal Operations SMS Terms
Prelaunch: These terms describe the planned Lucky Paws Internal Operations text programs. The programs have not launched. This page does not enroll anyone or activate messages.
Lucky Paws Hawaii, operating as Lucky Paws, plans optional texts supporting its animal-rescue work. Eligible internal participants choose either program or both:
- Medical reminders: reminders for in-house staff, volunteers and authorized program principals to review vaccine, flea-treatment and deworming tasks in the care records. Check the authoritative care record before acting and record completed care.
- Website alerts: website availability, outage and recovery notices for authorized website administrators. This program is for the website admin group, not the general volunteer group.
Each choice is optional. These choices do not enroll you in Trap Manager, foster or public messages, newsletters, fundraising or marketing. Website cookie choices and agreement to general policies do not give SMS consent.
How enrollment is planned
The planned process uses an on-site paper form with separate, unchecked program choices. Personal-phone users choose for themselves. For a Lucky Paws-owned or shared phone, the coordinator also checks authority, custody and assignment. Those administrative checks do not replace any required recipient consent or enroll anyone’s personal phone.
A signature alone does not activate texting. The number, program choices and permission must be checked, and the sending and withdrawal controls must be ready. At service-ready enrollment, a confirmation text identifies the programs selected. Signed forms and administrative consent records stay private.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies with the programs selected and relevant operational activity. Message and data rates may apply; your mobile plan determines any charges.
Stopping texts, changing choices and getting help
Reply STOP to stop both Lucky Paws Internal Operations programs for your mobile number. This applies even if you chose only one program. On a shared phone, it stops both programs for that destination and its users. It does not stop messages to other people’s numbers. You may receive a single opt-out confirmation.
You can also ask the coordinator, email admin@luckypaws.org, or send a clear reply requesting withdrawal. You can request a change to just one program through the coordinator or the same address. A program preference cannot override STOP. Renewed enrollment requires a new affirmative request for the chosen programs; unblocking a number alone does not enroll it again.
Reply HELP for help, or email admin@luckypaws.org for program or messaging questions. Use the same address to report a changed, lost or reassigned phone. Earlier consent is not automatically transferred to a different person or number.
Delivery and privacy
Text delivery depends on mobile service and network availability and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. A care reminder does not replace the authoritative care record.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in choices or consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging providers process the information needed to deliver and support the service.
